since i woke up at 7:40pm on friday i have not slept longer than three hours
i raked leaves at a cemetary all day sat and sun and worked 10pm-6am last night/today
im soo happy to be in bed right now (even if it means using on-screen keyboard)

time to watch scrubs until i cant keep my eyes open

Seeking the "meaning of life"
We watched Jesus Camp the other night and it was definitely the most depressing thing I've ever seen.
I don't know what I believe right now, but trust me, I'm trying as hard as I can to figure it out, and I'm seeking whatever it is

I couldn't clearly answer your question
I think a lot of people that haven't known me as long don't realize that that movie is pretty much about my childhood, only slightly more extreme.

Those kids are all going to grow up and either be your typical, hypocritical, 'Christian' war supporters, bringing endless death to others, or maybe by some off chance they'll grow up at turn out like me, which is probably a good thing, I don't know.

It's a totally different world than what I've always lived
I can't even begin to explain what I mean right now
It's like all of a sudden the whole world is a completely different place that you've never even been to.

I'm not denouncing my faith, I'm not saying I have faith
I'm stuck

There's amazing Christians out there. And I garauntee you, they have more love within them than anyone else here.
I'm friends with a few of them, one of them was my big brother and best friend for a while.
And now he's somewhere in the heart of the ghetto in New Jersey living with drug addicts and homeless, bringing them in to come and work in their urban garden and get some food or something. Treating them like people that deserve to be loved, like they may or may not have experienced before.

There's three things fighting inside me.
Jesus made a lot of sense. A few Christians in my life have made more sense than anyone else.
The American Church doesn't. It's more confused than I can explain
and it's only going to fall, until maybe when it hits rock bottom it wakes up

But why does Jesus make so much sense to me?
Is it because I've honestly searched for an answer and found that he really makes the most sense?
Or is it just because that's how I've grown up? And that's the only thing that will keep me from losing it?

Man.
I really, really can't wait to get a dog.
